When a war breaks out
And bombs and toxic weapons rain down,
And millions are imprisoned,
Women are abducted and raped,
Children are slaughtered,
The classy liberals toast and drink
And side with the warriors
And argue for and against
The warring lands
Our life-long lesson goes astray,
Our sense of sanity derails,
We degenerate into human animals
Dance of death around,
Acres of burial mounds,
Severed limbs, floods of blood,
Crumpled buildings,
Piles of debris —enjoyable
To the twittering masses
Shame on the colonizers!
Shame on the occupiers!
Shame on the white supremacists!
Shame on their supporters!
